Reject Baillieu government double standard on coal

Greens Senator for Victoria, Dr Richard Di Natale, has slammed the Baillieu government's support for a possible coal mine in Bacchus Marsh.

"Premier Baillieu has fast become the number one enemy of the environment," said Senator Di Natale.

"The Victorian government have declared war on wind farms and are throwing their support behind coal."

War on wind power costing Victorian jobs

The Baillieu government has declared war on wind farms.

The Greens fought long and hard for a renewable energy target. It's 9500 gigawatt hours per year now, rising to 20% of all electricity by 2020. It's still not enough, but it's a start.
